EXECUTIVE CHEF

Marie-Laure was born in the city of Lyon, the food capital of France. She has been passionate about food since her childhood, leaving school at the age of 15 in order to take up an apprenticeship in a top restaurant, and attend catering school. During these years she worked for several restaurants owned by a disciple of the legendary chef Paul Bocuse.

In 1996, Marie-Laure came to Britain on a sabbatical to improve her English, but liked the country so much that she decided to stay. She has since worked at leading London restaurants Pont de la Tour and L’Escargot, and several high-end hotels.
